I visited Turkey for only 2 days last August with some of my family and it was definitely a highlight of our Mediterranean trip. We, too, visited the Blue Mosque but also went to the underground Cisterns, which was my absolute favorite stop. Talk about stepping back in time! Thanks for including the pictures in your interview. When our neighbors here at Heritage Ranch heard that we were going to Turkey, their first reaction was-"Why in the world do you want to go to Turkey?" Of course, you have to excuse them as they are from Texas! We have travelled to several countries and lived in England, Africa and the U.S. We were impressed by the genuine sincerity of the people.
