Tyler,
Thoroughly reading about your visit to Turkey. It is on my travel list, especially after this. A fan of ancient civilizations, it was intriguing to hear your views.

What a great, in-depth interview, Tyler! I visited Turkey for only 2 days last August with some of my family and it was definitely a highlight of our Mediterranean trip. We, too, visited the Blue Mosque but also went to the underground Cisterns, which was my absolute favorite stop. Talk about stepping back in time! Thanks for including the pictures in your interview. Brought back many memories!

So so true, I loved this post. Gilbert refused to hire someone that had five more years to go in order to be vested and get a full retirement. Who would give up twenty years?

Thank you. Actually it does play. It was a gift for my daughter's friend. But you are right - it makes a great artistic statement.

The design is very nice, but that one can be difficult, if not impossible to play. It's too wide and too long. The width of the pipe should be an inch and a half and the length should be anywhere between 4 and 6 feet. Very nice art work on it though.

Tyler, I did not realize that we were in the company of a distinguished author. You succeded in keeping your fame and profile well hidden. This was an excellent interview and I really endorse your observatiopn about Turkey and its people. When our neighbors here at Heritage Ranch heard that we were going to Turkey, their first reaction was-"Why in the world do you want to go to Turkey?" Of course, you have to excuse them as they are from Texas! We have travelled to several countries and lived in England, Africa and the U.S. We were impressed by the genuine sincerity of the people. Rashid was excellent and kudos to Erdal, our driver. Keep us posted of your books. Best wishes. Shashi
