You should have seen the weather here in Miami today. Unbelievable storm! It lasted about one hour, and there was more thunder than I've ever heard. I had to look all over the house for dog - and she is a GIANT poodle! She was lodged between the pedestal sink and the toilet in one of the bathrooms. Poor Gigi. Funny thing about Florida storms. 15 minutes after it stopped raining there is not a drop of water on the ground. The sun soaked it all up!

Lightning and thunder and rain... yes, I am all for hiding under the bed with the pets on such occasions. I am a terrible scaredy-cat.
