Thanks for reminding me why I wanted to become a geography teacher :-) I have been wondering lately while going through a stressful period, do I really want to teach this... Your inspirational words of why you wanted to become a geographer reasonated with my own reasons for wanting to teach geography.

Warm regards from down under!

His career is stellar. the cominbation of Debbie's story telling and his data and science on geography make for a fun and entertaining way for people, not just children to learn. The other day a person asked me where Dubai was as they thought it was Saudi Arabia. Adults are even confused.

Fantastic interview. I especially appreciate that students should not just be memorizing cities and exports and imports but understanding about the interactions of people. Culture and history are integral parts of understanding geography.
