One of the BEST movie series of all time is Anne of Greene Gables. The first part of the series was released in 1986, and the boxed movie set with 5 discs is awesome! If you cannot rent it, then buy it! I watched the series when it first came out on TV, and boy was I addicted! I received it as a gift for Christmas, and my daughter and I have been watching it. I promise you and your family will enjoy it thoroughly. Read the book too, of course.
