Lilly Badilly Turns 1 Year Old Today! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Happy Birthday to Lilly P Badilly!

Thank you to everyone who has supported Smart Poodle Publishing and who believes in Lilly Badilly!
It was one year ago today that The Travel Adventures of Lilly P Badilly was published! It’s been an amazing year! We’ve met so many incredible people – teachers, principals, professors, librarians, students, non-profit workers, authors, publishers, reviewers, toddlers, moms, dads, grandparents, publicists, journalists, designers, printers, advertisers and more. We’ve been favorably reviewed, we won a national book award, we created Ask Lilly Badilly All About the World, and best of all, we’ve encouraged kids to read and have helped to pique their curiosity about the world!
We’re looking forward to another great year!
May your St. Patrick’s Day be blessed
with fields of four-leaf clovers

Congratulations! It was nice to be a part of her infancy. It is amazing how much she and her creater have grown in their first year together. Not only has she been a welcome part of children’s literacy, she helped teach children their geography, she was also a wonderful family project. Best wishes over the years to come. What a wonderful day for her to celebrate, too! Happy Birthday and Happy St. Patricks Day! Best wishes and much success to all of you.
Always,
Susan

Wow, a year already?! It’s been interesting, to say the least- I never expected to be walking around LA last summer in a millipede suit, nor filling out copious excel worksheets of library information, nor reading adorable, entertaining, weird children’s travel essays. I wouldn’t change a thing about the last year- and hopefully there will be many more weird Lilly Badilly-related adventures to come.

I am so proud to be one of the lucky ones to own an original copy. Now I have someone to give the book to in a couple of years. I can’t wait. Time really flies. I can remember the day Mom brought a few books to show us. It was like yesterday. Congratulations and I hope in her 2nd year, Lilly will make it into many libraries and homes. Frieda

You have made the world a better place!
Hard to believe it’s already a year, and yet I feel like I know Lilly so well.
I especially love the music and artwork!
